Dark-As-Sin-Death-By-Hot-Chocolate
-
I was fiddling in the kitchen, trying to come up with something like that chocolate drink that Starbucks discontinued a couple years ago and came up with this.....whoo dang, good! But, if you don't like dark, use a milk chocolate instead, and add more sugar to counter the cocoa. This drink is best served in about 1/3-1/2 cup quantities, and sipped little bits in between nibbles of fruit or pound cake. -- posted by KitchenQuartz

Candy Bar Chocolate Brownies
-
This recipe is from Dave Lieberman of the Food Network. It is really yummy and easy. Make sure the Snickers bars are cold or else as Dave says: "you'll get mush instead of chunks"! Note: 3/4 cup butter is 1 1/2 sticks or 12 tablespoons. -- posted by hungrykitten

From-Scratch Cherry Brownies
-
I didn't see any recipes for cherry brownies that don't use pie filling or box mix, so I came up with my own. The cherries make the brownies very moist and add subtle fruit flavor. I bet you could use other canned or cooked fruits in this (berries, peaches, pears) with good effect. The base brownie recipe comes from "The Wise Encyclopedia of Cookery" ca. 1949 and it's still a super recipe. -- posted by sprout 13
