  • Super Fast And easy Desserts
    • If there is one dessert that I would have to label as fast and esay, it would be dump cake. Don't let the name fool you! This doesn't taste like anything from a dump! The first dump cake I ever tasted was made by my Mom. It was unbelievebly good. It's also the main topic of this post.Called Peachy Pecan Dessert, this is really good! It''s simple to make. I use a large rectangular glass baking dish. The reason for the glass is it's easier if you can see thru the pan. Here are the oh so difficult directions!Take one large can of sliced peaches and pour it, juice and all, into the pan.Take one box of Betty Crocker Butter Pecan Cake Mix and sprinkle the whole thing, dry, evenly over the peaches. sprinkle chopped pecans, about half a cup, over the dry mix. Then sprinkle about 3/4 cup of coconut over the top.Melt about 1/2 cup of butter and drizzle over your ingredients.Bake your dump cake as per the cake mix directions until it starts to bubble, you see very little dry powder through sides of pan and the coconut is browned. This is wonderful served a la mode while warm! The variations to this recipe are limited only by your imagination and personal taste. For example, you can make apple dump cake using apple pie fill with a little water and white or spiced cake mix.
