The Livonian Order was a largely autonomous branch of the Teutonic Knights , the last Livonian Master, Gotthard Kettler, secularized the Order and converted to Lutheranism. In the southern part of the Brothers' lands he created the Duchy of Courland and Semigallia for his family. Most of the remaining lands were seized by the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. About the GNBB
- The Good News Big Band is a Twin Cities, Minnesota based group that performs Christian based music done in a big band swing style. Besides playing this style of music in churches, we also play secular venues where the music is the traditional big band swing, Latin style and other big band jazz charts.
