Cicero's last words were said to have been "there is nothing proper about what you are doing, soldier, but do try to kill me properly". He was decapitated by his pursuers on December 7, 43 BC at Formia. His head and hands were displayed on the Rostra in the Forum Romanum according to the tradition of Marius and Sulla, both of whom had displayed the heads of their enemies in the Forum. June 23, 2006--The Future of Jazz is a roots based organization based in Atlanta Georgia. The intention was to display independent jazz performers every second Sunday of each month. As with many popular cultural events it grew into something more, eventually it became a competition with a group of panelist with a wide range of experience in the recording industry including Earl Klugh and Lonnie Liston Smith.
