  • Beadspinners, beads and Glass Fringe?
    • Yes it's me again...I'm thinking of making some glass fringe again and I've been looking for tools to make it a bit less time consuming, I'm particularly interested in beadspinners.Okay, questions:- does anyone have a beadspinner (http://www.beadspinner.net) or an equivalent device? Do they make making beaded fringe any easier? Do they make it harder in any way? They seem useful for beading long amounts, but if I were making equal lengths - say 3"/4" - wide are they going to make making my own fringe any easier given i'd have to measure every strand? I have made my own fringe before using only a frame, needle and waxed thread - never again! It took forever!!!-Seed beads or bugle beads, which do you prefer? I like how fluid bugle beads look and the flat, reflective surfaces they have. I've yet to see fringe made from rounded seed beads although I know they do exist. Unfortunately the bead spinner is only compatable with seed beads. Is there any difference? I'd be using glass beads anyway.TIA!
