Salt Lake City Factoid:
During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, an extensive streetcar system was constructed throughout the city with the first streetcar running in 1872 and electrification of the system in 1889. As in the rest of the country, the automobile usurped the streetcar and the last trolley ran in 1945. Rail transit was re-introduced when TRAX, a light rail system, opened in 1999.  Salt Lake City Salons & Makeup Artists

Salons & Makeup Artists News and Information
  • Shower Exfoliant
    • After buying an exfoliant several times, I decided I could make my own... I did... and I LOVE IT! I use it several times a week, at night in the shower... and my skin comes out sooo soft! -- posted by jodyladybug
  • Extra Soothing and Aromatic Bath Salts With Milk
    • Holidays can be an expensive time of year for anyone. Here are some options to making your own bath salts. These make perfect gifts for anyone (teachers, grandparents, friends, family, etc.) and kids can make them too since all the ingredients are natural - just watch the coloring! I made them as side-gifts this past Christmas and they went over so well I was told I should be selling them! I even had a friend that mad them as gifts for her bridal party! I make these for myself all the time, sometimes for a single bath at a time! They will leave your bathroom smelling wonderful for hours. -- posted by HeathersArk
  • Banana Moon Facial Mask
    • Not sure if this is from Care 2's Home Channel, or possibly Delicious Living. Another banana facial mask recipe states that it is for dry skin. They don't differentiate in this recipe. So just be forewarned. I have oily skin and haven't tried it yet. Use the lemon juice if the mask won't be used immediately. -- posted by WI Cheesehead
