Salons & Makeup Artists News and Information
  • Aromatherapy Salt Glow
    • This will make your skin feel amazingly soft and smooth! I typically use Geranium and Lemongrass oil for this but zaar didn't recognize Geranium; Lavender will work well though. I've read in Aromatherapy books that Lemongrass fights fungi and is used for some skin disorders. It also helps with muscle aches and revitalizes, however it can cause skin iritation in some people so you may want to first try it with less of the lemongrass oil or skip it. If you are pregnant, just use the salt and olive oil. -- posted by Busy Lindsay
  • The Bold & The Beautiful
    • People are still scratching their heads over the nearly two-hour wait that preceded the Marc Jacobs show.
  • White Dragon Milk Bath
    • This is the bath milk formula I created when I was running a toiletry business years ago. This has all the good stuff that is needed for damaged, dry, or sensitive skin. Water is deadly to my skin and strips all the oils off my body, so I have learned that if I want good, healthy skin, I need to replenish with something every time I have a bath. It does make for a messy bath, but it is so worth it -- posted by Abby Girl
