Overland Park Factoid:
In early 2008, the city council voted to annex an additional 15 square miles south of existing city limits. The annexation went into effect March 10, but remains the subject of a heated legal battle between the city and property owners. After the annexation, the city spans nearly the entire distance between the northern and southern borders of Johnson County.  Overland Park Bakery / Cakes
