State College, Pennsylvania, is the largest borough in Centre County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It is the principal city of the State College, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area which encompasses all of Centre county. As of the 2000 census, the borough population was 38,420, and roughly double that total lived in the borough plus the surrounding townships.   • Merrick Towle Communications' Director of Information Technologies to be Honored at Baltimore Museum of Art
    • The Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) recently selected a photograph submitted by Robert Henninger (Bob), "Artful Wreckage," to be part of the Looking Through the Lens digital photography exhibition (March 16 - June 8, 2008) showcasing groundbreaking modern photography. Bob's work is being displayed alongside the works of some of the 20th century's best-known photographers, including European and American artists. On Friday, June 6, the exhibit will close with a party honoring Bob and the other artists. Bob will give a speech describing his inspiration for the photograph and his passion for photography. In addition to the opportunity to view the award-winning piece, the celebration will include exclusive in-gallery tours, entertainment, refreshments and a chance to make your own art.
