Special Events of New England LLC began its history in 1989. It was started by Chris Riddell as a proprietorship, and eventually incorporated as an LLC. The company's roots actually began in 1972, when Mr. Riddell's grandfather, Paul Riddell, opened a Taylor Rental franchise in Manchester. In 1973, that Taylor Rental franchise became the first company in the southern N.H. area to offer tent rentals.
