Athens Factoid:
Dora Bakoyanni, of the conservative New Democracy party, was Mayor of Athens from 1 January 2003 until 15 February 2006, when she joined the Greek cabinet as Minister of Foreign Affairs. During her tenure, she had been the 76th Mayor of Athens, and the first female ever to hold that post in the city's history; later replaced by Theodoros Behrakis. We also have over 50 great pictures from a runway show featuring wedding dresses by Renee Strauss. They are beautiful! We attended the Bridal Show at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey put on by Weddings in a Grand Tradition. The event was a class act all the way around - great and engaging vendors, a comfortable atmosphere, and a runway show that you would not believe. Also featured in the show were models sporting the latest and greatest lingerie from La Perla. We have photo's of that event as well. A couple of more galleries will be published in the near future and we'll also be talking a little bit more about some of the amazing vendors that helped to host the event.
