Indiana has a flat state income tax rate of 3.4%. Many Indiana counties also collect income tax. The state sales tax rate is 7%. Property taxes are imposed on both real and personal property in Indiana and are administered by the Department of Local Government Finance. Property is subject to taxation by a variety of taxing units , making the total tax rate the sum of the tax rates imposed by all taxing units in which a property is located. However, a law enacted on March 19, 2008 limits property taxes to one percent of assessed value for homeowners, two percent for rental properties and farmland and three percent for businesses. - June 21, 2006 (Baltimore, MD) -- Andrew Luttrell, a singer/songwriter and performer from Baltimore, MD, will release his brand new studio album "Luttrell, Noon & Wenger: Scorched Sentiments" first week of August, 2006. The CD contains 12 original tracks recorded with two talented local musicians, Skip Noon and John Wenger.

- June 30, 2006--How many true jazz divas are left? I would be willing to bet you can count them on one hand. So what kind of new talent is around now that is getting in position to follow in the footsteps of all the greats? You probably could not count them on one hand. I have not heard any recent major label acts that qualify, where I am hearing all of the hopefuls coming from are the independent realm.
