Arkansas Factoid:
People of European ancestry have a strong presence in the northwestern Ozarks and the central part of the state. African Americans live mainly in the fertile southern and eastern parts of the state. Arkansans of Irish, English and German ancestry are mostly found in the far northwestern Ozarks near the Missouri border. Ancestors of Irish in the Ozarks were chiefly Scots-Irish, Protestants from northern Ireland and the Scottish lowlands, part of the largest group of immigrants from the British Isles before the American Revolution. Scots-Irish settled throughout the backcountry of the South and in the more mountainous areas.  Arkansas Salons & Makeup Artists

Salons & Makeup Artists News and Information
  • Herb Bubble Bags (Disposable)
    • These oatmeal/herbs bags are perfect for 8 - 10 bath or showers. Oatmeal is so soothing on the skin. When looking for a dried herb, some possibilities are chamomile, marshmellow root, soapwort, chickweed. The computer would not recognize "part" so I gave it T. This could be made up in a for eg: 1 bag or 10 bags -- posted by Abby Girl
  • Homemade Hand Lotion
    • I got this recipe from a good friend years ago. It is really nice lotion and makes a lot! -- posted by yaya78006
  • Pore Tightening Mask
    • I found this recipe in my local paper. The tomato acts like an astringent to tighten pores and remove excess oil, while the honey is a natural moisterizer that softens the skin. While trying to post this there was some issue with the tomato, it should be one green tomato, just incase it shows up as zero. -- posted by riffraff
